I have got impressed by him at Romandie. I think he would have been the second stronger of the Giro, after Pogacar, far from him, anyway. A pity he crashed

After Vlasov losing 2 min today, it seems Lipowitz is Boras no.2 now for the Vuelta.
Will be interesting to see what tactical tasks he will get now in the race.
And how he does through the remaining of Vuelta.

He was one of the strongest today, already pulling on the first Hazallanas, taking some turns in the valley and still being with most of the best on the final climb. His main competence really seems to be endurance.

I have a feeling that huge heat and the really steep sections are not his favorite territory... expect a lot from him in the remaining Vuelta if he can stay healthy

I don't know about the his heat tolerance but he doesn't like the steep parts. He is a heavy climber. He can hurt others a lot on fast climbing sections.
He is also new to cycling and doesn't have the experience like rider who started as a junior.

While his size doesn‘t help with steep parts, I think his low cadence seated style is what kills him the most on super steep sections. He just can‘t keep the momentum.

He's doing quite well in this Vuelta. Doesn't seem like he is on a helper duty and can ride for the white jersey, at least for now. He already had the jersey, but is now about 20 seconds behind Rodriguez. How is his TT?

He was 1second faster than Skjelmose and 24 seconds faster than Rodriguez in the first TT so he's definitely in with a chance. Although of the 3 only Lipowitz's team could be said to have bigger fish to fry.

He‘s had a rather luckless Vuelta as a teammate so far, either being outpunched by Vlasov and unable to help or overdoing it like on Hazallanas and today and putting Roglič in trouble. But aggressive launch man for anybody not named Pogačar is a tough job that is almost impossible to get right.

He has the talent that means he really needs to leave Bora Redbull or how they are called right now asap.

Could you elaborate why with some info?
Has a team that fully supports and believes in him
A good development plan and pathway over the next years without heavy pressure
Has the same coach as Uijtdebroeks had last season and we know how good he was in 2023 vs 2024
He enjoys being on the team
Is getting results since last year over expected for the amount of time he has been racing

Seems silly to move.

Is there an overview of the Red Bull team where you can see which riders is trained by which coach?
