I somehow expected a better climbing level this year. Yes he is constantly on the podium but I don’t see any progression towards Jo as or Pogi. Is it just me?
I think it’s difficult to see his climbing level in spring. I feel he does better than last year around this time. TDF will tell us more, that’s when he actually peaks.

He is just a really good rider. I don't think he can reach mutant level but he is still improving and his preperation until Catalunya didn't went well. He is improving through racing and staying healthy at the moment. Catalunya, Basque and now Romandie is a really hard shedule, but he likes it as a rider who doesn't fatique much compared to other riders. With a perfect prep he can be near the mutants in week three the TDF.
Perhaps he can win in Slovenia against normal riders. His kick and shorts effort has improved a bit I think.

I don‘t think he has that level unless the mutants catch a Cold or similar as well. He‘s just too far off otherwise since the likes of Pogačar have also had Tours where they get better until the 3rd week.

No, he should win in Slovenia. He is the biggest favorite and if he doesn't win it will be a big disappointment.

I believe he is riding Slovenia and Suisse as well. Five stage races seems to be bit of a overkill.

Isn't he going to altitude camp?

It's impossible to be in two places at the same time. The Tour of Slovenia and the Tour de Suisse have the same dates (17.6. - 21.6.). And Lipowitz has already confirmed Slovenia.

That would be a bit hard to do unless they clone him. He has said he‘ll do a stage race in June, which may be Slovenia, but they could of course also decide to lose to Pog or Vingegaard instead
