What is xipamide? And if it's not in the prohibited substance list, what's the big deal? The Cyclingnews article says it's a diuretic. Dr. Pepper is a diuretic. So is coffee. Are they illegal substances in the world of professional cycling?

The clinic says hi!

I'm pretty sure they don't. Just like they don't reassign points for the points or mountain jersey.

That's a good point. When Ricco was booted out mid way through the 2008 Tour they didn't go back and recalculate the mountains points.

If they had done so then (after Kohl was later disqualified) the top scorer in the 2008 KOTM would have been ...

... wait for it ...

Frank Schleck (dum dum dum!).

The important question is:

Do they go back and recalculate the team classification by eliminating Frank's time from any stage where he was one of Radioshack's first three riders? If so that has a huge influence.
I actually recalculated the results from Stages 13-15 (Stage 13 was the one he had The Clinic visit), and Radioshack would have lost absolutely no time whatsoever. I assume they wouldn't do anything to him prior to his The Clinic visit.
