Be interesting when he wears yellow at the Tour how he'll handle the inevitable doping questions.

I actually don't know anyone who actually thinks he's clean.

Oh, there's plenty believe me. Sad really because becoming the best or top 2/3 in different disciplines is mind boggling. TT and mountains are specialist events yet here Froome just smashes both.
There's not enough talk at all in the British media it's quite embarrassing.

What an afternoon! Caught the last 10km of the Froomedawg demonstration, then the major grunt-fest at Roland Garros between Sharapova and Azarenka. Can't decide which was more irritating.

Now watching Williams/Errani.

Williams makes Tammy Thomas look like Froomedawg for muscle development. She has biceps the size of a freight train!!!

Haven't seen Del Moral on the sidelines following Errani. Maybe he is being discreet.

Pro sports are great! Maybe there will be pro wrestling tonight. Can't wait!

Probably with less expletives than Wiggins

"...Cycling's cleaner now...Paying the price for the previous generation...Marginal gains...Been working towards this for a whole year... When do I get my knighthood ?"

knighthoods r us.

david beckham and wayne rooney are gonna get their backs up and want their own knighthoods before queeny passes this mortal coil, funny sarcastic emoticon thingie

Dont feel bad, nobody in the media is talking, only, and sometimes, the Belgian commentators drop some hints.

Cant wait for july.

Don’t come Tour time the world will be listening.

I’m sure Dave Bruyneel will have had some prepared media statements for the Dawg.

I’m sure nice guy Chris will keep saying “…working hard, sacrifice, great team, new era of cycling”.

Wait, so if other top contenders are doping, Froome might still be clean, but if Froome is doping, everyone else is doping too?
hmmm, thats a tough one for those who contend that point. if froome is doping, so is everyone.

great rebuttal hrotha!

That's not a historic fact imo. Some of the greatest GC riders both pre- and post-EPO were excellent at both TT and climbing.

Will he ever get caught though? That is the million dollar question.

maybe not, but people talk. Especially Wiggins seems mental to me, maybe he will publish a book of tell it all when he is well into his fifty. LOL

no. Sky are too powerful

Sky and British Cycling have close to the power Armstrong did. Armstrong was too powerful he got reckless and handled Landis badly.

as long as Sky play it well politically, and stay under the radar, and dont get too greedy, it should be ok.

i see potential problems when G Thomas and Kennaugh both want their slice of the lucrative position and trophies.

that is the greatest danger, the internal fight for control, and demands to inherit similar financial and status rewards as Froome and Wiggins.

The thing is they are greedy, they could very well possess the top two podium position in the Tour

Could some kind soul explain the w/kg thing to me? So Froome rode at 6.08 today? What is deemed dodgy? Over 6? Never quite understood all that watts business.

6W/kg is considered to be the maximum a non-doping rider can achieve. However, you need to factor in time - clean riders can exceed 6W/kg for a short period. So there's no hard and fast rule.

yes. that is their gamble.

Armstrong was brought down by hubris, and the arrogance thinking he could act with impunity.

brailsford needs to know when to put the breaks on
