It's a joke this guy won the 100th Tour. He's finished.

Comic gold... His antics or "tactics" has me looking forward in a perverse kind of way to the MTF of the Vuelta. Without him I'd just keep an eye on the tour but not pay close attention.

Today it was like someone had the controls of Froome brain and started taking the ****... Cound?!?

All true!!! Given both had WT experience then transformed themselves pessimists would say the declines were somehow doping related.

Another strange performance on the MTF today. This time his team dropped him. Stranger still.

I agree with the strange performance in today's stage...I don't think there was any bluffing on Froomes part and I suspect we will see him lose more time over the coming stages.

BTW...Will be interesting if in the future he starts talking about attempting the hour record....lol

Froome went to the front hoping the narrow crowd would prevent anyone attacking. Didn't quite work as Contador got around him.

Agree he has not got the right form and we won't see him do much this tour.

Yeah, it seems hard to believe that he would have overcooked had he followed the chances in pace like everyone else, yet still be amongst the best at the end. Bizarre.

It was actually quite common for Froome to look like he is about to crack and then find some ridiculous pace from nowhere. EG Oman last year on the stage Purito won where Froome Nibali Contador Evans were all together, Froome was last man, looking at his stem about to crack, and then vroome got like 30 seconds in 30 seconds.

Same today. Only difference is he's slightly worse so the power up brought him back rather than catapult him forward.

Contador has no team. So what does Froome do? Kills his own team so he's off the back and struggling to hold onto Contador.

Froome should be resting his far superior team for this weekend and the final week, where, if Froome gets better, can smash everyone.

But no. Froome thought better to kill his team on a no name transition stage.

Brainless.

He just needs to puff puff pass.
The inhaler.
To his team mates.

Come on Hog, it is tactical genius, Froome is lulling Contador into a false sense of security by destroying his own team and himself on the pointless stages. Then when Contador feels like he has no chance of losing the race Super Froome will come back and blow him away....;)

anyone noticed the COUGH has disappeared.....and riding at the back of the group is a pretty good place to suck on that inhaler.

What an idiot yeah just like Contador last year:rolleyes:.

You don't see Contador doing a daft thing like Froome yesterday, yo yoing off the back and a team mate setting a fast tempo. Daft!

Nothing to do with his physical abilities or if he is doped or not, just pure daft and illogical

Maybe he has a small motor/battery with only enough juice for a 30 second spurt. Remember Ventaux as well.

Nah, it hasn't. The last two days when ITV spoke to him after the stages, he coughed on screen, or in one case you heard his distinctive cough just as he moved off screen.

Tank, Im sorry but I doubt Froome will win more GTs.

His edge came from having the superior doping program and UCI protection. But it appears all that is gone now.

My guess is that its too risky to use the express TUEs. Thus, Dawg is no longer capable of mutant attacks.

Just compare his results from when he was on horse steroids to this vuelta and you see my point. Contador has no problem beating this "normal" Dawg.

I expect he will be riding for garmin in 2016 and fighting for top 20 in the tour.

You cannot compare Contador and Froome. One guy is an all time legend who has won more grand tours than the other has won stage races. Complete flash in the pan and at nearly 30 he's already entering the twilight of his career.

That is not true though
