So it's questionable he was on the top of what he could do in this stage of his developement as a rider. Give him a 80-100km TT GT and he'll be a contender for sure. And there will be one of those within the next 8 Years, and that's space of time we are talking about concerning Dumoulin.
I am much more sceptical about Landa winning won than Dumoulin. He doesn't strike me as overly consistent and his TT is abysimal, I can also see him in deep trouble in hard hilly stages.
