Chasers working harder now ... 45s not a winning break.

Damn this is developing into an interesting race.

The question is, can freire handle the pace his team is setting up the hills? And when they get back will they have anything left to chase back the attacks that will come from guys like Gilbert, Evans?

Cavendish no longer in the peloton according to Sporza.

BBC said the same. Didn't show up on the ticker. It's Miller time now. had to switch the audio off, apparently Spain is pulling because their sprinter isn't up front, and they are so proud they spotted that "you think?" strategy, they repeated it twice to gloat. Phil & Paul, all is forgiven.

Is that Sanchez the sprinter? :p That BBC guy was the worst cycling commentator I've heard.

Wonder who is going to be able to take Gilbert's wheel near end if/when he goes?

EBH, Pozzato? Cadel's diesel engine is not going to help here.

Not surprised that Cav and Hunt have stepped off; have Dean and Sagen also retired?

Can't see Greipel hanging onto the pace, all is looking good for a Gilbert win:D

Would be useful to have a list of DNF's

Edit - Goss is also out according to sources
