Muur and Bosberg would only be possible if the start is in that region. A Brussels newspaper opted that the race would be heading towards the birthplace of Remco. Muur and Bosberg are not very far from Schepdaal. Also, the frontier with Wallonia is nearby.

But the hills from Brabantse Pijl combined with some hills in Brabant Wallon seem more likely. Overijse and Hoeilaart , and nearby Walloon cottages Rixensart and Limal, have some nice hills.

Most difficult Brussels hills, Kauwberg included, are in and around Ukkel/Uccle, So I think the local circuit Will include Ukkel.

Thomas VD Spiegel said in an interview they already have an idea but they still have to talk with the regio's Flanders and Wallonia.

According to new UCI rules next year all WT teams will have to participate right? Well or they all have to use this as their exception race, but I doubt that. Most teams will fight for an exception to different (harder) races they want to skip.

According to an article in Gazzetta dello Sport today, Petrolike plans to step up to Pro level in 2026, but first wants to see if their Mexican riders are ready for it. If not, they will postpone it by another year.

Currently the team budget is 1.2 million Euro. "The riders earn little, but they find professionalism and everything they need."

I really like the fact that they're waiting to see if their Mexican riders are ready for it. Instead of just stepping up, and if their Mexican riders - who are the core part of their team - aren't ready, they'll just be thrown under the proverbial bus.

It’s refreshing to see team development and professional advancement for clearheaded reasons.

Uno-X are similar but with the significant advantages of already having a strong talent pool to target for signings.

I've never seen him race, but there was a meet-up at the Leeds University the day before the Yorkshire Grand Depart, with him and some others spending their afternoon telling stories from the past. It was basically the best part of that whole thing.
