In the article in 12th place it says Cunego has 106 points but how is that possible, he has been practically non-existent???

Link below shows his results for the season. CQ has a different points system than the UCI but his results in the World Tour(WT) events can be seen. Its only the World Tour events that count for the UCI rankings

Hasnt been that visible in those events though.

That's just horrible. I don't get how these accidents happen, are cyclists suddenly invisible??!

Unfortunately it can and does happen, I know nothing of Tony's accident but if normal everyday commuters get hit then you can imagine the surprise he’d give a driver not expecting and not paying attention to someone of his speed on the road.

The Vattenfall Cyclassics will be 30km longer this year, 246km.
The organizers want to make the race harder and more spectator friendly, so there will be one finish passage more.
Also Hamburg is interested in organizing the Road World Championships at some point in the next years.

Hamburg used to be a somewhat interesting race in the late 90s-early 00s, back when it was the HEW Cyclassics. Did they change the route?

I think it was interesting because the World Cup still existed.

Yeah, that was the most important factor, but still, they managed to avoid a bunch sprint more often than not.

I think the finish has always been in the same place and Waseberg has pretty much been the only difficulty in the last half of the race.

Of course it was a longer race back then and there were bigger differences between riders.
