Zomegnan doesn't like Riccò personally. The only problem Zomegnan has with doping is that the public knows about it.

I know I'm a Skil and Kenny van Hummel homer, but the guy is the real deal...on the bike and off...great sportsmanship!! I copied this from Pez cycling site...

Chapeau To Van Hummel
Kenny Van Hummel handed over a race win at the Arno Wallaard Memorial in the Netherlands this weekend to Stefan Van Dijk after being declared the winner. The Skil-Shimano fastman came to the line in a virtual dead heat with Van Dijk. The race jury reviewed the finish over and over before finally awarding the win to Van Hummel. When Van Hummel looked at it though, he saw something different: Van Dijk's tire almost imperceptibly ahead of his own.

Van Hummel said afterwards: "I do not want an undeserved victory. I hope that I can seize some more opportunities in the next few weeks. Last year, I won in May like it was an assembly line. The form is certainly good..."

As for Van Dijk, he was relieved: "I've been second so many times this season."

Cofidis for the Giro:

Guillaume Blot, Mickaël Buffaz, Remi Cusin, Julien Fouchard, Tristan Valentin (all French), Nico Sijmens (Belgium) and Kalle Kriit (Estonia). They will be lead by David Moncoutie and Leonardo Duque.

I think we can say that Moncoutie will not be riding the Tour, if he wants to get his 3rd KOM at the Vuelta.

I am sad he will not get the chance to ride the Tour this year. He may not be sad about it, but I am.:D

How can they be called "Team Mellow Johnny's" in the results but have Radio Shack as the obviously most visible of the two on the jersey? Does the difference in jersey design make the primary difference in applying the rules that no Pro Tour teams can race in Continental races?

Perhaps Albert announcing riding the Giro this early is to try suck Armstrong into thinking he has a chance at next years Tour?
