Both march stage races are basically the same like every year with the same kind of riders winnig here. Boring. Only hard weather will make it interesting.
Muddy roads could be awesome unless CANCELlara is there and decides to prevent the peloton from racing it.

Meh. A pancake flat 22,7 TTT.

Paris-Nice looks so much better. It looks like PN will be a mini-Tour while TA will be a mini-Giro.

Stage 2 is Purito vs Valverde, stage 3 is sprinters, stage 4 is sprinters/lucky break, stage 5 is climbers, stage 6 is hard man sprinters. I'm not sure how RCS managed to mess up stage 6, quite frankly.

While it's still kinda tame compared to Paris-Nice, but Stage 5 is at least a MTF. It's 6,6% for 13 km.

The climb is perfect for the likes of Van Garderen and Peraud.

Actually, I've changed my mind again. It's 2/10 since the organizers spoke about avoiding bad weather scenarios.

And the course is a lot worse than in 2013 and 2014.

But then again those two years were golden in terms of racing in the medium mountain stages, but the riders were protesting against the ramps: 27% and 30% IMO are horrible but not excessive, and enough to create good racing. RCS are afraid of riders boycotting the race if they include those stages again. Last year was anæmic, this year even more so? Similar really. What we can hope for is a repeat of last year, where the TTT got cancelled on favour of an ITT

Yes please or no TT at all. I still have to look more closely at stage 2 to see if we are going to have any good racing but it looks bleak. The Pomorance area has a lot of potential. But they should have used the entire range of hills instead.

On Sporza in a couple of days.

It was nice, but they really need more time. No strade bianchi was a mistake imo.

Stefan Küng (BMC) is diagnosed with Epstein-barr Virus (EBV) (mononucleosis) which forces him to put his training on a hold for at least a couple of weeks. According to BMC it is not yet determined what influence Küng´s illness will have on his planned race schedule for the start of the 2016 season.

Sad story from Paolini. I'm not going in to details else this has to go to the clinic, but I'm going to miss him this year.

The route of the 2016 Tour of Utah:

Looks nice, the final 2 stages are always great and stage 4 should feature Nebo Loop Rd, I haven't looked at the possible route of the other stages, but those stages look pretty good. I'd have liked to see Powder Mountain once again, but it's still a pretty good route.
