Of course, but still. They must be massive.

I guess slightly more than the usual post TdF appearance fee because the timing is annoying, but I'd see this also as being way more attractive for sponsors

Appearance fees in general is something I'd like to know more about in cycling. I know in tennis they get absurdly big but I doubt cycling races have the budget for such appearance fees even if adjusted for the difference in $$ between the sports.
