Great news: we've reached the level of professionalism where the races need to be made harder.

Bad news: until that happens we're going to see a lot of lobotomised races and Little Miss "I Saw Something Yellow On The Ground" Contract Law with her arms in the air in races that she can get to the finish of even if people try and make it hard for her, they just don't.

Not just made harder, raced harder. A group with Kopecky, Wiebes, Dygert, Chabbey and Borghini ought to have had the ambition to stay away. Instead the whole race comes back together and allows SDW to produce their train.

Kopecky could also have dropped everyone on Kemmelberg, but she should probably not keep her hopes up for Wiebes repaying the debt.

I don't know, I'm not the one who said that Gee-Wiebes could have won the race.
Man I am spun out!!!??! The age of somebody's kid can influence the outcome of a race? I was only trying to put having a racing age child into some context. If that's a thing Pogacar better get busy!!!

What happened to Chabby over the top of the Kemmelberg? She was there second wheel at the top, then gone.

Also why does Dygart race in a thong?

Dygert uses short shorts after her injury/injuries.

Chabbey got dropped somehow when they were riding through the trees after the top. Perhaps she overshot a corner. When we saw her back in the chasing group, it looked like she had to work hard to keep contact, so I was worried she had a (slow) puncture or something, but I don't think she changed bikes. After that, she did nothing, despite the countless opportunities for her to launch a trademark attack, because FDJ wanted Wollaston to return to the peloton. Then they failed to position her perfectly for the sprint.
