Wonder if Van Aert didn't have more in the tank. One would think he should be able to drop most of the riders in that group on a climb as hard as the Kemmelberg, yet nothing. He now has to win a sprint in a group full of good sprinters.

It's a good thing that much like Mathieu, his sprint gets better and better the harder the race is.

He's facing a bunch of guys who didn't go deep at E3 two days prior, that has to be playing a role.
