For the sprint I would put Nizzolo on par with Van Aert but Trentin is looking dangerous too

After great work Friday, bit of a fail by Quick Step today. Might have no one in the top 10 if Bennett fades back to group 2.

Nizzolo has won 2 GT points jerseys

and Colbrelli is not exactly slow himself

Still an incredible effort from Bennett this. Wolfpack will be strong in seven days time anyway.

Bennett has the willpower of a top classics rider. He will try until he falls off the bike dead, just as he did on that hilly PN stage. But he just doesn’t quite have the engine.

WvA needs a long and hard sprint. So he needs Van Hooydonck.
Still very tricky with Nizzolo and Matthews. I wouldn't be sure of sprinting in this group.

Matthews almost got dropped by the Van Hooydonck attack though.

Matthews dropped a bit and had to work to get back on after the Van Hooydoonck attack so wonder how he's feeling. I'd be leaning towards WVA in the sprint ATM.

Van Hooydonck is probably mentally blocking the first attack.

Van Aert is still the favorite in a sprint. With Bennett out, there are no riders faster than WVA, Nizzolo and Matthews coming from behind.

I don't think Trentin or Colbrelli can beat the other 3 so they need to attack as well.

I guess with the reroute, no one is certain what effort is needed to make a solo attack and hold on?
