I guess the hope was that MVDP and WVA would look at each other again and nobody wants to work for them and they give him enough that with a tailwind he can't actually be bridged to easily.

Going to be interesting to see who attacks and when. Lots of riders there won't be interested going to the finish with Trentin, Degenkolb, WVA, Pederson and VDP.

The DQSt trio will have to attack to avoid a sprint. They once again have the numbers.
Them and EF are the two teams who need to make things happen really. Have more than one guy and a non favourite in a sprint

Yep, but EF is just Vanmarcke, Bettiol is useless, I don't think he did a single pull on the front, in this group or before.
