I think that is the main pursuit group. They are the first group pursuing the leaders (with some stragglers between I think. McEwen still up the road?)

I'm not very surprised. He has said he will be focusing on Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix, but I still thought that he would be with the peloton.

well he doesn't have a chance in either of those so that would be rather dumb. I guess his form is just bad after his injury this week, or perhaps it's not completely healed.
