hmmm. 8 years ago would have been 2002. Now which team did Klasna ride for back then? I seem to recall that team nailing a 1-2-3 result during a certain domestic race with some steep-*** climbs. A little bit of Gewiss, right here at home.

I remember him at the Olympic trials in Seattle that Horner won and recall he was on a team that had a fluid drink as a sponsor, but not sure. I do remember listening to a his teammate and a mechanic speculating on his emergent form. One used the phrase "he's on the juice". I wasn't really thinking about what that meant (referring to the product sponsor?) until I talked to my team mate who was also on the Natz team. It was news to him but he had noted that Klasna wasn't real popular with the pros and was riding over his head.
