I was on a train during the beginning of the climb and during the "incident." from the sound of it, Quintana didn't do attack at all on the climb? From what I've read it was Zakarin and Nibali. Is that right?

Great recovery. Hopefully he will show class as always and not throw mud against the opposition. Afterall it was his own caused problem.ferryman said:Fantastic ride by big Tom. Now looking forward to hearing his comments!

Honestly he still has zero reason to ride aggressively. If he follows wheels every stage from now on he probably wins the Giro by 2 minutes.

Yeah, I agree. That's what Movistar know too so they'll be taking turns attacking him for the rest of the race. The other GC riders will also take their shots so it may not be as easy as just following wheels to Milan, but if he can hold in the mountains to within a minute or so of everyone else, the race is his to take.Ramira said:Irondan said:Dumoulin looks absolutely pissed off. Quintana took a *** on them.Kafviar said:Amadaor and Anacona must be happy now.
It's obvious that Dumoulin is the strongest man in the race, but also has one of the weakest teams which allows for tactics to rule in lieu of the strongest rising to the top.LaFlorecita said:Only if he can follow wheelsRamira said:Irondan said:Dumoulin looks absolutely pissed off. Super impressed by Tom. Many expected him to lose 2 minutes or even more, and he did, but only because of bad luck.. he was strong and fought to the end. Hopefully he isn't ill and can limit his losses on the next stages.
