i wonder how many times TD has that in him. it may not happen today, but as we saw in the vuelta 15 it adds up when you always all alone fending for yourself.
makes for great racing. love the giro!!!

The tempo set by Amador was so slow Cataldo was able to bridge. Tom might not have spent that much energy.
Agree. Tom more-or-less just rides the pace that gets him to the top of the hill fastest. He tends to not play games chasing unsustainable surges from the likes of Quintana. Perhaps just the same here. Maybe not too much extra energy burnt. We'll see....

And also Tom was really clever not to try to follow Quintana or Nibali, only paced himself. He need a cold head.

It's funny how people applaud Cataldo for working with Nibali, while they attack any team for working with any Sky rider ever.

Ofcourse it's not right, but thats what friends tend to do.

It's ****** honestly. Ain't going to be cheering for people that do that. Essentially legal cheating because you can always argue he's riding for himself. When he isn't.

I dont like it either, personally Id never do it, because im the typical white knight guy. You know how the world works though.
