I don't know if we can blame the bike though because it wasn't moving.
Common sense should tell him not to stand still on the road, or were you being sarcastic?

The motorbike was on the side of the road not in the middle of it. The bike was stationary and not moving I mean it could've been easily avoided.

The motorbike was on the course. Period. Get off the f'in road if you're stopping. Messed up the whole race and a season goal for several riders in a split second.

Appears Pro-Tour riders can't be bothered to point out vehicles close to the road- Moto-Dude not 100% at fault...

It's awful that Thomas and Landa have been taken out of contention, but let's not declare the Giro ruined just yet. Neither were likely to win. It hurts the GC competition for sure, but we still have Quintana, Nibali and the Surprising Dutchmen

Landa will probably abandon, he is definitely hurt :(
Thomas is continuing, let's see how much time he loses. Chapeau for him for riding!

I agree with you, the motorcycle guy stopped much earlier and was told to let the group surpass them.
He was on the side and not moving in a place where the road was straight and ascending

As a Sky fan, I feel anyone who puts blame on Movistar for riding, need to have a look at themselves, the racing was on and these things happen. No blame on Movistar whatsoever.

Again Movistar shows that they are team without moral, it's okay they are leading but after the crash the push the pace even further, but okay if that is the only way that loser team can win let them.
There's another 10 contenders for GC? Movistar has to beat? Because one crashed we stop? What if it was a sprinter instead of the all important Thomas?

Movistar did nothing wrong. Sky got pilloried on here a few years ago when they carried on the pace at the Vuelta when a Movistar rider went down though.

Thomas' shirt is ripped up like he went through a wood shredder, I would be shocked if he doesn't DNS on the next stage if he even finishes today.

Another year of wondering about Landa.

Wow, I thought Yates was back. I guess not. Jungels going to lose 3+ minutes.
