Considering that there is (or rather, was) a fountain in the middle of it, it must have been a rather expensive operation. Definitely not unusual for a roundabout to be paved over for a GT finish though, the Tour in particular does this with some regularity.
For real? Sometimes I don't know when you guys are joking, but it's always nice to learn stuff when you aren't.

they removed the fountain, but the roundabout doesn't look very destroyed to me

The city specifically hired a designer to "create an unforgettable experience for the fans and riders". If they removed it, it must have happened very recently.

I think this is the sort of stage where Ineos should try to launch Ganna, others fast track guys like Pithie or Vernon should give it a go too.

My pick for the win is Milan.

I feel like we're going around in roundabouts here. Will Pog try another show-off "non-attack" today?

Even tho it's way harder than yesterday I would genuinly attack again if I was pog just to be safe in the descent. The speeds there will be absolutely ridiculous, if anyone makes a wrong move we get a massacre.

If he doesn‘t make it tomorrow he‘s officially a Mareczko. Not even David Dekker is dropped afaik.

Tomorrow his only chance I would say. Or he has to survive till stage 13 but...
Luckily for him Tour stages are looking a bit better for the Mareczko's of this world.

Soon have 1,2km 8,4% if Trek, Visma, Intermarche will pull Merlier have no chance

There's like 50kms of flat. Really doubt those teams will pull full trying to not let them come back. Even Jakobsen can still come back (but he won't be in front after Capo Mele anyways).

Merlier is already back and moving up.
