Is Roglic becoming a more diesel climber? This stage doesn't give us reliable informations for the high mountains. Or maybe I am in denial about Ayuso's future GT win
His recent comments about how he changed his training suggest that. Anyway, Del Toro looks ready to fight for the gc win.

Odd statement by Pellizzari: "this finale didn't suit OUR characteristics".
Might have something to do with Roglic changing his training to be more of a diesel and cope with long range attacks in the Tour?

Or perhaps Pellizzari was talking about himself only.

In Catalunya he was pretty good in the shortest MTF. He was disappointing today, hopefully it was just a day off, maybe caused by the really cold weather.

Ayuso too strong today! Del Torro made it 1-2 for UAE, wow. Bernal also impressed me, I don't think I've seen him so strong since 2021. As for Primoz, he forgot to stomp, it seems. A bit disappointing performance for sure. Maybe just a long range defence until...Finestre mega-stomp.

Good day for Spanish cycling...sad that it has to be UAE. If Ayuso was on any other team he would be one of my favourite riders. Also, we have not seen the best from Roglic...he will probably strike back strong.

Ciccone did well, but the attacks probably hurt him for the sprint. Old man Caruso looks like he might be able to take that (possibly) final Giro stage win.
He rode really well, jumped a few times trying to get something going, Trek as a brand is doing great this race!! Pedersen absolutely shining and Ciccone racing bold by himself mostly with little support.
