25s or thereaboutsHow close can Pogacar get to Ganna do you all reckon
Yeah. They should be free-wheeling less than 10 % of the time?Seems low
Seems fair – it's quite funny how few 25km+ flat TTs Pogacar has done in his career25s or thereabouts
Ganna was doing that for +30min in tts when he was 20/21 years old, so yeah..."460W average for Ganna", Voigt quoted from the Eurosport Whatsapp group. Apparently confirmed by Ganna himself.
Might just be less heavy and like power meter calibration and ***Yeah. They should be free-wheeling less than 10 % of the time?
Is Ganna so aero? It seems very low..."460W average for Ganna", Voigt quoted from the Eurosport Whatsapp group. Apparently confirmed by Ganna himself.
Came 6th in the only year he properly prepped for it tbf. I think you could also see how much he was struggling on the cobbles that day, just continuously lost ground. For some reason Remco is better than Ganna at time trialling. Ganna can't produce monster watts like Cancellara used to make back in the old days. And we can add his inability to compete in cobbled classics like roubaix can be justified by his lack of true sheer power.
Short TT or prologues(between 7 and 10 km) are very important to analyse who are the best TT because aerodynamic isn't that important compared to sheer power, when they need to break and accelerate constantly. Cancellara was a master because he was insanely powerful.Came 6th in the only year he properly prepped for it tbf. Sheffield has stated his dream was to win the Tour. 1-2 years ago in an interview, I believe.Seems strange to say about someone who just came 6th at Flanders but they must be looking at Magnus Sheffield and thinking Dumoulin/Wiggins
Mezgec not on the list so I guess not.Just catching up with the results so far. I see Ewan is continuing in the race but did Mezgec not start today?
Ganna is normally really good on those, though, and has had some crazy 20s wins on 10km TTs. He's fairly inconsistent admittedly, but lest we forget he has a sub 4 minute 4km pursuitShort TT or prologues(between 7 and 10 km) are very important to analyse who are the best TT because aerodynamic isn't that important compared to sheer power, when they need to break and accelerate constantly.
