Think a a break could take this one. Small time gaps in the GC mix unless Pogacar goes turbo just because he can. Tactically the TT will give him the time gaps he wants and more. Thomas can solidify a podium with a good TT.

I guess that will depend on his recovery (which will hopefully be quick) and how he does in the time before the Tour. The Dauphine seems to be a good target, maybe they'll take him there and see how the form is. Or they just have a fixed plan for the Tour already, and will send him to the Vuelta instead.

I hope for a strong breakaway with the likes of Alaphilippe, Pithie and Stuyven in it. Otherwise I think Pogačar will attack in the last climb and take at keast some bonus seconds.

Thats a damn shame. He would have been interesting to watch in the mountains. Blow for the race imo as I think he had a reasonable chance of challenging for stage wins
