I think it's a normal gap, Pogacar is not Remco in a flat TT (at least the first 35 km). They did a similar TT in the Tour 2022.8 seconds up on Thomas, not good

Pogacar being 44s behind Ganna is a pretty big surprise
actually they were. stephens stuttering seaching for words looking at the clockI doubt that was what they were saying...
You said he would crush everyone, clearly you were wrong.Remember I said nothing, cause I did not want to be in big trouble.
Quebec grants them an exceptionWhy don't you hate Canada?
If they do then every member of the UAE staff involved in the decision making process needs to go.Lot of talk on Pog having a road bike on the side of his car that might indicate he'll do a bike change.
I'd joke about Roglic never losing an uphill TT in the Giro, but he lost about 15 years on Alpe di Siusi to damned FoliforovI've seen enough. Roglič to win the Tour...
He'd be my favourite for 2nd overall. But often seems to have iffy days that cost him?O'Connor a beast on the climb.
They probably letting Pog decideIf they do then every member of the UAE staff involved in the decision making process needs to go.
Yeah, the Slothvenian is calling the shots on the team when he's racing. They probably letting Pog decide
40s, I would sayWhat's realistic for Pogacar to take back on the final climb? 50-60 seconds?
If he switches to roadbike, not muchWhat's realistic for Pogacar to take back on the final climb? 50-60 seconds?
Thirty seconds on O'Connor would be quite something over 6kmWhat's realistic for Pogacar to take back on the final climb? 50-60 seconds?
If Pog is within one minute of Ganna at T2 I'm still sh*tting my pants till it's over.O'Connor just put 30 seconds into Ganna on the climb...
guess Pogacar will be ~1:00-1:20 behind at T2 if this wind keeps up and he is riding well disregarding conditions.
Probably then claws back 35-40 seconds or so on the climb. Guess unless things change enormously the current podium for this stage is staying as it is. Maybe Pog can overhaul Arensman with a great climb.
