we have him on German Eurosport as well, so it's probably the same for everyone. Speaking English, though. Do you have him in Danish? There's a Danish guy called Mielke, but I didn't know he was also on Spanish ES...

Interesting. He is doing the same thing in (at least) two languages then. Occasionally joined by Hannah Walker.Sure.
He does some "this is what the finish is like" reporting.
Hirt is totally ninjaing it in the top 10 kinda like... I can't quite remember his name from a while back (Henao?), but that's exactly how the ninjas work.Jan Hirt in top 10 ...dont think I have seen him once.
The stage is not up for discussion in the stage thread. Only topics such as cats, hair, funny European names and Eurovision. Maybe Aurora Borealis too.I missed today the stage and now I can't read back because I'm watching the sh*tty euro song contest, can anyone explain me why Pogacar didn't drop his rivals? That is a Roglic style result
Nah, he is saving himself for the double attempt. He didn't look stressed at all today.Congrats to Teddy on his 3rd stage win but the style is surprising. It seems he actually didnt have the legs to attack, did he? Going 2-3km from the line, after Majkas work, would normally be simpler than chasing attacks. Or did they turn into defense mode after the TT and UAE work was only to prevent attacks?
17 GT stagesSomeone should run the numbers on number of mountain sprints Pogacar has won vs solos. I think the numbers would surprise some people

Aurora Borealis?
I knowSolar storm causing auroras over large parts of the Northern Hemisphere.
Also, lady commentator in the studio wore sensible shoes again today (yesterday she had slipped and wore the high-heeled shoes again), so we are also tackling the fashion industry and the pressure on women to look a certain way.The stage is not up for discussion in the stage thread. I know

Nah, from what I've seen Hannah Walker is walking the beat, so hopefully no need for her to prance around in 5-6" heels. I 'm talking about the gal in the ES studio, Orla I think is her name. So, we might throw discussion about that into the thread as well... now we're at it.
If the lady commentator in the studio is Hannah Walker, then she obviously needs to wear shoes that are fit for walking.
(That was me throwing a terrible name-based pun into the mix. But you should kinda be used to me doing that by now.)
I knew you or @Netserk would come to the rescue17 GT stages
3 ITTs
4 solos
10 mountain sprints
For reference. Rog is on 8 ITTs, 4 solos and 7 mountain sprints.
Rogla still an offender to be honest. If we take Lo Squalo for example it goes likeI knew you or @Netserk would come to the rescue
I would count Moncalvillo as a mountain sprint, no? Also Serre Chevalier was from a breakaway but he wasn't fighting for GC.17 GT stages

Bormio he outsprinted Landa who was in front from a breakaway, so technically 9 I believe. Stomp was the one in Andorra right? Was also solo in Sant' Anna Vinadio but breakaway won it.Rogla still an offender to be honest. If we take Lo Squalo for example it goes like
1 ITT
1 Stomp
3 2nds that turned to wins by winners going busto (I always forget the legal status of these "wins"
10 solos
How about Sagan's drunkenly fighting police officers "because he feared he would be taken to a hospital and vaccinated"? Where does that rank
On the other hand if the form was really good enough he could have hung with the Maglia Rosa group after getting reeled in like Storer managed to do.Big loser outside of Plapp was Bardet. No need to roll the dice in the break already. He lost 2:16 today. He had good form the past few days and gets zip for it.
