Congrats to Teddy on his 3rd stage win but the style is surprising. It seems he actually didnt have the legs to attack, did he? Going 2-3km from the line, after Majkas work, would normally be simpler than chasing attacks. Or did they turn into defense mode after the TT and UAE work was only to prevent attacks?

Nah, from what I've seen Hannah Walker is walking the beat, so hopefully no need for her to prance around in 5-6" heels. I 'm talking about the gal in the ES studio, Orla I think is her name.

3 2nds that turned to wins by winners going busto (I always forget the legal status of these "wins"

I would count Moncalvillo as a mountain sprint, no? Also Serre Chevalier was from a breakaway but he wasn't fighting for GC.
Also Pogacar lost to the break a couple of times when he went solo. Le Grand Bornand, Tignes, Loudenvielle.

Bormio he outsprinted Landa who was in front from a breakaway, so technically 9 I believe. Stomp was the one in Andorra right? Was also solo in Sant' Anna Vinadio but breakaway won it.

Big loser outside of Plapp was Bardet. No need to roll the dice in the break already. He lost 2:16 today. He had good form the past few days and gets zip for it.

On the other hand if the form was really good enough he could have hung with the Maglia Rosa group after getting reeled in like Storer managed to do.

Pogi doing the smart thing now. He needs no more time, but gets the third stage win. If I were him I would just follow wheels and sprint for Victories from here. Boring for us but bring on the Giro tour Double.
