Six of Pogacar's sprint wins have been two/three up sprints against Vingegaard and one other, or vs Roglic. I think only one of Roglic's sprints have been two or three riders, the rest in fairly sizeable groups like Pogacar yesterday. That's where the difference in reputation stems from.

While you make a good point, I don't think that's where the difference in reputation stems from at all. Pogacar is mostly just a stronger rider than Roglic, so he's much more often in a position where he can attack and solo away without a doubt in his mind, which he does a lot more outside of GTs and in one day races.

Especially in the Tour, Pogacar hasn't been that aggressive since Vingegaard dropped him on Granon. Which comes back to a point I've often made, which is that I don't really think attacking when everyone knows you're the best really warrants an aggressive reputation that much.

Yeah Andorra was a very late attack just before the sprint. Who has the most solo stage wins in GTs in modern era? Nibali?

Contador has Angliru x2, Verbier, Etna (I think can count Rujano was dropped with more than 1 km to go) and of course Fuente De.
Should Farrapona/Ancares count? (Attacked Froome with less than a km to go)
PdB 2 men sprint, EE Fuentes de Invierno attack inside the last km but smaller gaps then Farrapona/Ancares.
Arcalis and Gardeccia breakaway was ahead FWIW.

Froome has Ax-3, Ventoux, PSM, Bagneres-de-Luchon, Zoncolan, Jafferau. Pena Cabarga both times was a sprint, so was Cumbre del Sol.
Quintana has Covadonga, Blockhaus, Portet, Valloire, the stage to Calpe in Vuelta where he escaped near the end with a few km to go. Should Val Martello count? Long range but got rid of Hesjedal at the very end. Semnoz attack in last km.

What? Only top GC rider who has neglected it is Vingegaard

This year only Pog rides it. And neither any of the Yates brothers, Hindley, Carapaz, Mas, Ayuso, Landa or Rodriguez. Of the perhaps 15 top GC riders, only 3 are present. And it has been similar the later years, although not quite as bad as this year.

I think Bardet is just interested in breakaway wins now. When the chance is gone he just sits up and rolls home.

Which is fair. Would be one of the most popular stage wins if it happens as he is one of the best regarded riders on and off the bike.

You can see a visible, obvious change in leg speed from both of these 2 off the front, one is spinning so so, but the other is starting to labor his legs are making squares!! Wondering if they quit together or the stronger of the 2 stays out for more camera time..either way great ride from Polti.

I don't think that newer riders realize that as you see another crash 3,4,5 dudes laying on the deck, more than 50% of the time in the past you bend a wheel, often potato chip looking, and today crashes happen and the bikes are still rideable. And you see more derailuer hanger failure, were it breaks instead of bends. Wheels are 1000% better than 10 years ago and a thousand percent better than 20 years ago!!
Did anyone really enjoy gluing on your tires!! No!!

Normally he would cruise home, but Majka thought obviously he still had to ride. Pogi rockets to the line normally when the last teammate is done, but not today. Majka could have sprinted himself for the win!
