pozzovivo as always is in topshape too early. he then turns sick during the giro usually. he should simply ride less but for colnago is important he ride a lot. serpa and scarponi had the same problems. scarponi though and serpa semaingly, are peaking better this time

i don't think so but he will finally win trentino which is big for me at least

in giro he will get sick somewhere in the second week i guess.

But if he stays healthy he finishes Top-10, right?

I followed that Tour de l'Avenir and I don't remember what the joke is about.

Gotta say I expected to have seen at least something from Eijssen at this point.

From CN's stage report:
Rujano, never a rider to be counted on for consistency, blew first, with the leading four initially distancing themselves from the diminutive Venezuelan.
Ryo, you need to have words with DB.

eijssne was an increidbly overrated u23 ride.r he got humiliated hard by the colombians when the real climbs started despite being in leaders jersey ealry on. after avenir he said in media that the reason he lost that race wa sbecause he had foudn out he was drinking the wrong sportsdrink for that entire week

since then I think he's the most pathetic excuse for a human being on a bike and I lugh hard at his failing pro career, which is no surprise when you know he already trained like a pro at very young age and his dad even bought him his own u23 team so he was helped out in every race

lol, cn.com I take less serious than a norwegian forummember talking about nordhaug and ebh
the part about '10 conclusions after roubaix' was great as well, naming almost everyone doing remotely well of the 27yo and younger generation (including phinney), but not Boom (who only did his 3rd roubaix) :p

you might also remember when it was said that, Boonens 2010 GW win was more impressive than Cancellara at E3 that year, since you were the one who brought that to my attention.

Also I don't agree Basso looked good. He finished behind Marc de Maar for crying out loud
Well d0h, he was out of it before the action really started. After that he seemed to be pulling for Cappecchi.

He lost the leader's jersey because he had "the wrong sportdrink". It was a legendary moment in cycling (and probably the only legendary moment we'll see from Eijssen).

Barta is a very good rider, but not in the high mountains. Naetapp planned Konig to be the GC leader for Giro, but he was injured and he is in poor form. So it looks like that Huzarski is their strongest guy in the mountains(showed it in Trentin and Coppi and Bartali), and also a decent TT rider. He should be their GC leader.

correct Polish version is HUZARSKI

In the sense of flat yes it was. :p
In cycling terms not, of course.
Anyway he lost "only" 5 1/2 mins there. So the Bianche-Stage wasn´t the only one he lost time...

he didn't losde 10 minutes before the mountains started. he only lost those 5 minutes at strade bianche because none of his team helped him other than jackson who crashed after that sterrato hill. pozzovivo was in the same part as rujano of that group but he had a team to bring him back while sella, vicioso and serpa only rode for themselves that day. rujano lost no time anywhere else until the final week where he was sick and lost another 2 minutes in a rainy stage I remember.

A bit quick to judge are we?

Haha, that's hilarious.

I knew he was overrated and that he wasn't a huge talent or anything, but I wasn't expecting some sort of Noe Gianetti 2 either.

AFIR he lost some time on stages 3 & 8 to the other favourites. Anyway that might not have been 10 mins. The real neckbreaker was the Bianchi stage...

also hilarious is that of course bmc fell for this as usual. they bought into the phinney hype so much they pay him a million dollar a year and basically they buy anything that is (big) hype in cycling without looking to the story surrounding it. it's like a team ran by dumb fans withotu any vision
