He was always prone to doing a really bad sprint if he was completely gassed. This happened even in 2019-2021.
Yes, and he also lost sometimes to worst riders in his territory "uphill stomps" sometimes during his 2019-2021 reign. For example I remember Dan Martin in Vuelta 2020, Gaudu in Romandie 2019 (although bad positioning was the issue). It is normal because he took part in a crazy amount of uphill finishes.

But I agree with Jhonny in the fact he has lost some punch in the end, but clearly in the last couple of years (being healthy) he is better than ever in terms of w/kg, recovery and durabillity, the data give us 0 doubt about that, is just that others even improve more. Still I have the impression that when he has a top class opponent like Pogacar or Remco he can recover that monster 2021 kick a bit, I dont know if is the motivation or what...

In the past they both managed to beat each other in such uphill finishes. An in-form Pogacar has a ridiculous uphill finish i.e. see Grand Colombiere stage finish at the Tour 2023. I'm not sure if Rogla is as strong in explosivity this year as he was in the past, we will see (or maybe we won't if Pogacar attacks earlier).
This. Even in the 2020 Tour, I saw Pogacar outsprinting Roglic in a uphill sprint.
EDIT: 2021 Pais Vasco is a good example too

Another boring race result incoming ...There isnt even a doubt no matter who tries to giz up anticipation with 'this one can do that or that one can do this'.

Nothing left to talk about or anticipate except if one Vuelta and a LBL is worth a podium at the Tour

As for Primoz's and Pog's relationship body language would suggest its not easy ....and to be expected. Roglic, one of the best in the world is super competitive and its got to hurt that he is so overshadowed by his countryman (no matter what he says or how he smiles) . I'm feed up of Pog's dominance and I dont even ride a bike

We don’t need more people riding a bike, we need more armchairs.

I feel for Rogla because I think he's aware he's slowly on the decline while the youngsters like Pog, Remco, and Vingo are just getting started!

Aging, it sucks.
