But im not saying Fuglsang will win lombardia
I meant to say: like another Lombardia favourite who quit the race earlier, because they're just here to prepare for Saturday's race.

So, just because you don't admit to doesn't mean he isn't?

Ah, he does it every year. Go back to the wigans or cav threads and keep defending them. Your comments about him sandbagging are quite sad actually.

He would probably have a good laugh at your comments.

Martens is always complaining and doubtful of his form, that's the way he rolls apparently. And otherwise there's still TGBM, who says on his website that his form is improving and that he felt strong today.

List of favourites for Lombardia nominated on this thread.

Gesink (yes he was a big favourite)
Freire (not so much)
Martens (perhaps)

Now Bauke (i rate him higher than others)

Which team is it that everytime a leader is crossed off, a new "favourite" emerges.

Can only be the dutchies;)

Even if this Rabo Lombardia curse continues we will eventually find Lars Boom being nominated as a big Giro Lombardia threat.

I've always thought Dimitry Kozontchuk was a potential Lombardia winner. He'll be the team leader, count on it.

why are the comments about sandbagging sad, he could well be claiming to be tired and worn out to make other riders think hes not a contender for lombardia. maybe bluffing would be a better word

and tell your boyfreind to change his twitter pic, hes not world champion anymore ;)

Well I think he looks pretty good though - strong performance in Giro dell'Emilia, 2nd in Memory of VDB ... if anyone can have a chance from Saxo it's him I would say

who nominated friere ? :D no chance.
And martens is a very good classic rider (underrated imo). Was/is a chance, I doubt he would win though.

As for bauke, a top ten would be a possibility, a win or even a podium... no

Yes but he's done it every year and I find it hard to believe that he would not be tired after 2 grand tours in a row.

Maybe you should tell your boyfriend to get off twitter all together and start training for next year!;)

Sinkewitz is a better chance than all of them combined. Sinkewitz I tell you. Sinkewitz will win.
