The pure climbers, in the traditional sense of the word, are in the break. There is no longer as much of a distinction—climbing performance wise—between the guys who are solely climbers and the all-rounder watt-monsters like Pogacar. I suppose “pure climber” can still be a descriptive of a rider’s size and style.Looks pretty good for Almida. Rest of today and tomorrow are for pure climbers. And we don't have any of those in the race. Would be cool to have Pogacar, Vinegaard, Landa, Hindley, Mas on these stages. Instead we have a very weak climb field
