Tbf though, Roglic can at least say to himself if he can avoid crashes, he's got a really good chance. He'd have won the Vuelta last year imo without it as he was looking very strong and gaining time on Remco in the mountains.
whut? :tearsofjoy: So your statement is if he can avoid crashes but other still crash he has got a really good chance? (because that is what you are saying about the vuelta). In that case one might as well say that Caruso has a good chance to win a GT if he avoids getting sick while everyone else in the top10 is getting covid or crashes.

It is unfortunate he crashed and isn't really recovering well from it (if that is the reason or he is pokering).
We all would like to see them competing mano a mano a mano a mano a mano. (assuming we could have had a battle of 5)

Tbf outside of Pogacar and Vingegaard, I think Roglic beats anyone else in a GT with all things being equal. He's put no points into luck though so he constantly gets screwed

Last year Evenepoel crashed and lost time in the stages following his crash. Now Roglic crashed, lost time, but in his case he would win (would've won) if he hadn't crashed, which is something Evenepoel apparently can't say, even though he actually crashed and actually won.

Mwaha.

Rog to pull the biggest bluff in history, no risk no glory thermonuclear stomp, forum explodes, proclaims best giro ever.

Alternative: loses another 30 seconds, Giro over, we go on with our day in peace.

I wish. Just don't see it coming. And if he looses just 30s I'll be very wrong.

Remco has never really shown he can do it in the high mountains in a GT tbf to a Pog, Rog, Vingegaard level tbf. He's been more at the Mas level. Whether you say that's cos of the crashes or not, it's still true. Roglic has shown that.

Eh, he did show it in Catalunya for example against Roglic. But I guess those mountains weren't high enough or it doesn't count for some other reason?

Looks pretty good for Almida. Rest of today and tomorrow are for pure climbers. And we don't have any of those in the race. Would be cool to have Pogacar, Vinegaard, Landa, Hindley, Mas on these stages. Instead we have a very weak climb field

When Roglic feels good he attacks.. I mean, he attacked Remco on a small sprinter ramp to gain 5 seconds. We will know immediatelly where he is.

Why do you keep misspelling Almeida’s name?

So who's winning out of the break... Definitely not Pinot.

Zana or Frigo for me.
