Or News of the World, Daily Mail etc. would do.

Not really, sir. Local echoes can't afford the posh inks and colour print doesn't taste so good on the chips. Those full page pictorials they publish for the illiterate who 'read' those rabid national rags are much harder to digest. ;)

Pork. BBQ pork shoulder cooked slowly over hickory coals.

Wow. A thread called "Thinking about food while riding" with a response by Thoughtforfood. Could this cause a snag in the spacetime continuum? :)

During longer rides, thinking about food is almost unavoidable since it directly affects energy levels, focus, and endurance. A lot of riders end up planning meals or snacks mid-ride just to keep performance stable, especially on high mileage days.

Personally, I tend to think about simple, satisfying options that are easy to recover with after a ride. I really like the burgers from Cook Out because they are filling and straightforward, which works well after burning a lot of calories on the bike. It fits that balance of quick energy replenishment without overcomplicating things, similar to how cyclists often rely on practical, calorie-dense meals during training phases.
