Astana boys will bonk hard today as their team and not Tinkoff's will be leading the peloton...Landa and Aru need help to get them up the mountains before they are isolated...Contador with actual help is game over for all

Contador will be isolated and Astana will be 3 or more. He may get help from other teams but not from rubbish tinkof.

Paulinho fading away ...

we must be lucky that Contador rode most of his career for teams who didn't get him the proper support, otherwise the GT didn't have to take place... imagine Contador in Giro's Astana team of 2015...

Aru, Landa and Kangert maybe. Tira will be dropped earlier due to too much effort. Contador will have Kreu and either Basso or Rodgers given that Astana are setting the pace.

it is doenst matter what happend from now, it is dissapointing, with a stage wot so many people in the peloton now nothing really spectacular could happen....or at least much lees that possible...

Astana doing a Liquigas '12 train. Bah.

Was about to post this. What a disappointment.

They should just say f*** it and go all in. Who cares about 2 guys on the podium? And Landa is so much stronger than anyone not named Contador that no one has a chance to pass him anyway.

Well you don't have to expect much from 7% gradients. 8% or more for spectacle.

Its bound to happen. Landa and Aru are probably not as good today (or preventing yesterdays hiccup) while they ride defensivly. Tinkoff are happy with the proceedings. Status quo. I think Movistar should start to show up today.

Rolf Sørensen is speaking of a headwind on danish TV. Might explain the size of the peloton
