Might have been posted before, but this was the Cervinia stage winner in the 2012 giro:

That is Andrey Amador and Leopold Konig. They were fighting for breakaway honours then. Now they are in the top ten in the Giro.
Jan Barta ;) Hesjedal attacked that day
Whoops! They were in the same team though, plus I always mix them up.

That's the thing...Astana will not be better than this at the tour

ts - bertie, rogers..basso

ts meeting: olga tried to make joke.. no one laugh..then a long silent of akwardness. it was so weird meeting w/ none of riders said anything. that's the gist of it.

Thanks :)

I can't recall when I last saw a team this strong in the mountains.

Strange how they keep losing time.

Their strongest guys just aren't stronger than Contador. That happens. Having a team ride like this in the mountains though is impressive. I suspect they will have 5 riders on the final climb

I'm not sure the A team will be that much stronger, especially in the high mountains. Though there are some very good riders that aren't here, with Fuglsang and Taaramae (and possibly Scarponi) being the foremost climbers and riders like Boom and Westra being just very strong. If a few of the Giro riders are still on form for the TDF the team will be quite a bit stronger, otherwise I don't think the difference is huge.

The main thing is the strength of other teams though. Sky and Movistar will be a lot stronger in the Tour, and the simple addition of Majka will mean Tinkoff-Saxo will be stronger too (CAS and Kiserlovski shouldn't hurt either). So even if Astana is stronger in the Tour than it is now, it won't be able to do the same things.

Astana is not dropping anybody important and people keep saying they are so strong. They look like this because other teams sucked hard in this Giro, especially Tinkoff and Sky.

SKY. Dauphine 2012 - the Morzine stage.
where Quintana crushed whole famous train?
Well it was Quintana :D and Evans also got a couple seconds on the descent. Yet they were 4 SKY riders in a 9 rider group.
