Christopher Juul said in a interview today that Contador will try to get his stage win tomorrow on Sestriere.
So now we can be sure that Berto will try to win today :D

Exactly my thought.

Astana is seemingly trying to harden this stage so Contador will for sure loooove to win it. He seems to like the epic stages.

I'm almost sure that Landa won't win any stage. For one he did look quite tired yesterday, and second I think Astana will prefer to keep him in the service of Aru (to secure the sardinian's position on the podium) since AC's lead is way too big to even dream of recuperating.

Exactly right. If an Astana won a stage, it would be Kangert, Cataldo or Lulu and that won't happen today.

How far are they on the route? With the speed they've been going at it can't be long before they reach the bottom of Barthelemy.

They're about 1/3 the way up the first climb. 94.6 miles/152.3km completed, average speed 27mph/43.4km/h.

They are obviously riding for Nibali.

It seems that Astana haven't given up on Maglia Rosa yet or at least beating Contador. But it's Contador we're talking about. No matter how much work Astana does I don't think they will be able to break Contador even if Contador is isolated again for a long time in the end.

Very fast. This stage hasn't been flat either even for now.

What's happening?
TV cut to Contador chasing alone behind a group, looking kinda panicky, then cut back to Tennis.

Visconti and Chaves have an advantage on the break. Montaguti and Ulissi have dropped off. Peloton just over 3 minutes behind.

Probably some old clip I guess (TV broadcast mistake perhaps?) but I don't know what you saw.

The leaders are now at the bottom of the climb, so those images you see are old ;)

Betancur seems to have plateaued on his form. He's not in good enough shape to win a stage if he's dropped already. Visconti, Chaves, Kochetkov and Kiryienka have 10 seconds on him and 2 others and now Visconti has gone alone and has 8 seconds on that group and 15 seconds on the Betancur group.

mythical mikel landa to solo from saint panthaleon like grande ivan gotti in 97!!!

Landa is seriously overrated right now. It's come kinda funny already. People here talk like Landa is somekind of a "second coming of Jesus" already.
