The gap is increasing, you tell me. All this whining since an hour about Tinkoff screwing Roman over, the actual gap from Kreuziger to the peloton has actually gone from 7 minutes when he was in the chase group to 9 minutes now.
uh no. it went from 10:20 to 8:40

10:20 was to the front group, Kreuziger group was over 2 minutes behind, which is why Konig stopped riding and dropped back. Only when Cataldo made it to the front did they realize that the front group was not going very quickly and started riding.

He'll be fine for the TdS.
Looks very good considering how the fall looked.

Sky don't seem to care about the overall victory. Only to make sure that Contador doesn't win the double.
Or rather to tire Contador out for the tour. That might be why Porte is here, to try and push Contador as much as possible and weaken him for Froome.
I doubt they care. In top form Contador vs. Froome vs. Quintana is a fair fight, with even an easy Giro in his legs Contador has no chance.
Its cycling. Nothing is certain.

I don't think post Giro Contador should neccesarily be that much more tired than Froome in 2013 and Wiggins in 2012 when they were on a 6 month superpeak.
Contador has De jongh and Jullich. Its perfectly possible both DJ and BJ (giggle), discussed doing Giro Tour double with Froome and Wiggins back in 2012 and 2013 but both decided their single aim in cycling was to win the Tour de France, so Sky may in fact feel it is perfectly possible.

Pantani and Indurain did it afterall.

Besides its not 100% certain Froome and Quintana will be on form. Contador himself should in theory have been on form for the 2010 Tour for example but wasn't that good.

I think those two were a bit better than Contador. Consider that Pantani once attacked Ullrich 50 km before the finishing line (yes you read well, FIFTY KM) and gave him 9:00 minutes with one stage. Do you think that Contador can gain that kind of margin over people like Uran or Porte?

Amador is a man that could do a very Good ITT , becouse is long, and he has a very good third week, so, he is dangerous.

Are Sky, Astana, Etixx, etc completely and fully *** ? Giving 6+ minutes to fking Kreuziger that is top 3 TdF material ? What a bunch of imbeciles, lol.

Perhaps this is the question. Tinkoff sent Kreutziger in front with the message create a gap for Sky, Astana and the likes to work on. The gap got bigger and they still didnt work why Tinkoff needed to do it by surprise.

The answer for the day is that Sky are weak. Really weak.

It does look like Sky isn't very strong this Giro, but if that's their tactic and the break gets brought back without their participation.....then that's a genius tactical move.
The only gruelsome mistake is recalling Konig back. If they haven't done that they would be laughing now
