I can't help but feel Contador is just playing his injury up to make it seem more remarkable when he wins, and so his fanboys have further excuses if he doesn't. The last thing you want is to show that you're weak, and he did exactly that on the podium yesterday. That would mean he was either genuinely injured to a point where he'd be unable to continue, or just playing it up, and he's certainly fine to continue...

Yes a dislocated shoulder can be bad, but in most cases, it's hardly a big deal. Hurts like hell but it doesn't prevent you from doing anything after about 12 hours usually, and for sure it would have affected Bertie but to nowhere near the extent that one would believe reading these forums

Contador looks fine to me, maybe uncomfortable today, but tomorrow he should be okay.

EDIT: In what World am I a JUNIOR MEMBER?!?! I'm here for more than 6 years :D
Lolz, funny :D

What is Cannondale doing?

Edit: Danish television just reported that Matthews is affected by allergies today. That would explain why OGE hasn't been near the front so far. However, surely they will just ride for Gerrans then?

greetings, fellow long-time junior member! edjumakeshunly speaking, this 5 year, one month, 140 total posts JUNIOR member has reason to believe one's member status is related to the number of a member's posts.

though the number of your 1,136 JUNIOR MEMBER posts (1,136) dwarf the number of my JUNIOR MEMBER posts (141 including this one), i believe that by virtue of the consistently awesome **quality** of our posts, we deserve - at minimum - an upgrade to ASPIRING SENIOR MEMBER status.

:D

I know, I know, hence the smile, it just seems odd.

It is odd that the threshold is greater than 1,000 posts.

Looking at the status of various members, it appears that the "Senior Member" threshold is 2000 posts. Given that I have made fewer than 800 posts in nearly five years of being a fairly regular visitor to these forums, I guess I will become a Senior Member in about 2022.

well i wouldn't say that since I don't ride bike professionally and let alone in WT team. And here we are sitting on the couch, with beer on the hand, telling everyone that.. the injury is just playing it up. Of course it's easy for us to say that. Who are we to judge that his injury is nothing either? We don't know what he is feeling today and let alone riding in high speed with 264km on the menu. So that's why people are questioning how he is doing so far. After all he is not's racing in some beer club around the neighborhood.
