how do you know majka has nothing to loose? he is not a GT winner,so getting top 5 is probably as far as his goals can go
Good thing he has not 1 not 2 not 3 but 4 minutes on Jungels then.

And my point relates to the initial post, he cannot as he like everyone else is suffering after a very tough Giro and in particular a very tough stage yesterday.
I don't think you're fully grasping the meaning of "nothing to lose".
Surely the abundance of WT teams means that points are essential. Only understandable that Majka doesn't risk his position and potentially lower his market value.

Depends on how good he is. I'd say at the station, but if he has the legs, why not go before?

Can you translate what Ivan "advised" to Vincenzo?
He said that Nibali is very good at being at the right place at the right time, and that he hopes that Nibali will be able to "catch the right moment" today.
He also said that the he expexct thing to happen near the top of this climb and in the descent right after.
Thanks a lot :)

If he can immediately drop chaves even 3 km from the top could be enough. He can get about 20 seconds on the lombarde, 10 on the descent and 20 on the last steep ascent. But since he doesnt know how strong chaves is he should definitely attack earlier.

Wonder what his value as a GC leader will be after this Giro...
