if nibali were to take the lead today, would that be the first time the leaders jersey had 3 different owners in the last 3 'active' stages of a grand tour?
Nope. TdF 2011: Voeckler held it on in Galibier, Andy Schleck took it in L'Alpe and Evans in the ITT.

I think this might be the happiest with a GC I've ended up in a long time, I'd be delighted with any of the top 3 winning at this point

hell given what it would take I'd probably even be delighted if Valverde pulled a rabbit out of his hat too

Valverde started yesterday 3:23 down on GC and at the end of the stage was only 1:48 down. He's reassured he doesn't need to change his tactics. :D

If Kruijswijk could manage somehow win this Giro it would be my favourite cycling win ever. GO KRUIJSWIJK

if Kruijswijk wins with a broken rib and a bruised foot he'd put every champion to shame. It's not gonna happen.

If he keeps top 5 it's a true miracle.
If he keeps top 3 he is god
If he somehow improves he is an alien.

I'm attempting to swim over channel if this happens. (Honestly true, I made a drunk bet last night and it got recorded :D )

2 hours to go!

Hard to know what to expect today, wouldn't be surprised to see a reversal of yesterday with Chavez better than Nibali, as for SK, well it will be a miracle if he makes to the end of the stage.

I hope they cancel the stage. Chaves would be a better winner than Nibali, Kruijswijk would stay on the podium and Valverde would stay off the podium.

Explain how he is supposed to be a better winner if he needs the stage to be cancelled.

The Italians should hide a powerful magnet in the snow again to force Chaves to do a somersault. Worked for them yesterday.

I don't want to see the popular favorite win thanks to the crash of a stronger opponent. A relatively unknown Colombian would be easier to live with.

Whoever wins this Giro will be a true, worthy champ.

Chaves winning would mean resisting the full onslaught of the Astana armada.
Nibali winning would mean snatching victory from the jaws of defeat when 3 days ago his team hinted at DNF.
Kruiswijk winning would be epic after what happened yesterday.
Valverde winning would require a ride for the ages today, what with his high-altitude weakness.
Majka winning would send the forum into a volcanic explosion of rage not seen since Ventoux 2013.

Reason why is cause Wuyts is commentating on it and this guy's enormous ego has to be satisfied
