What a Giro! So high level overall and Tom as really worthy winner. Chapeu!

Would've love to see Vincenzo to take this one for Italy, but he definitely gave all for it, was just not enough. Hope he will still amuze us couple more with similar form.

NQ was way better today than expected, the little man really gave all what he had, but just wasn't enough.

Was quite sure the hype for Pinot's and Ilnur's TT skills was over the reality which proved right.

Imagine if Dumoulin had been alone on the flat after the last climb yesterday. This would have been incredibly thrilling. Still a great finale for this giro.

Don't go there... 'what-if's are the path to madness ;)
Yeah you're probably right, especially in this giro where we had so many what if's it's surely better to not start discussions like that. :)

LOL I've been doing it since the 1989 Tour, as you can probably guess by my avatar.

Good win and ride by TD in the end. I expected him to be slower (because of fatigue) today and he was weaker than in the first TT but still good enough. I think that Quintana did as good TT as physically possible but it just wasn't good enough to stay in maglia rosa.

Tibopino will be crushed after getting knocked off the podium.

He rode great during the last week, too bad he lost so much time in the first couple weeks.

No, he just spoke on French TV: of course he is disappointed by his day, but all and all, he recognizes he had a successful Giro. Don't forget it has been since 2014 that he did not manage to be in contention in the GC of a GT, so this Giro is like a small renaissance for him. He will bounce back.
Mard Madiot also revealed yesterday that Pinot had a huge loss in form for 3 or 4 days in the 2nd week: usually he would have lost it mentally and cracked on a stage, but this time he managed to hold it together and bounce back. So, well done !!

By the way, I hate last-day TTs  : so many ugly memories of my favorites losing the jersey or getting kicked out of the podium (Giro 2012, Paris-Nice 2015, Romandie 2015....).
