Wait, Pozzo, Dennis, MAL, Froome all were caught out in that split!?

I think Pozzovivo made the front group, but not sure, it all went bonkers for a while.

They are all back safely now...but yes according to commentators only Yates and Dumo made the first GC split.

No. Pretty sure i saw him in the Froome group.
Pozzovivo was definitely in the Yates group

Yes, I rewound the footage on my tv box and Pozzo was definitely in the Yates group with Dumoulin.

Formolo is in the break so Lotto NL will soon start pulling for the 10th place in GC of G. Bennett

Judging by this and yesterday’s TT, UAE are going to be bonkers over these last few days.

I totally lost track of where everyone was.

I know they're in Italy, though...

This is everything but certainly not the easy day off one would've expected prior to 2 1/2 rough mountain stages!

Leclercq just stated that this in fact is the last day where non-specialists (climbers or sprinters) can go for a stage win so half the peleton indeed wants to get away of course. :D

He said that as if half the peleton going completely loco on a transition stage is a totally normal thing.

To be fair, in this Giro absurd seems to be the new normal.

Last opportunity for many riders to win a stage.
Yes, and all of the PCT teams, Ag2r, DDD, Katusha, Cannondale, Trek and UAE still need a win.
