Ciccone has the huge problem that he needs to be first over the next climb and the other teams know that and will make him work

There really ought to be enough of a cash prize, or something, to make these mountain points competitive. Of course Ciccone has done well to get himself into the break, but it seems to diminish the KoM competition to see him simply roll over the top unopposed.

At the same time, though, others want the stage win and aren't just going to sit back

He might have some sort of gentlemen's agreement with Jumbo that he doesn't distance Gesink at Cervinia, unless he's significantly weaker.

The Alpecin ad might be the worst ad I've seen in a long history of bad cycling ads
If they really want to have an impact they need to hire Froome, put a wig on his head and get that great slogan back "doping for the hair"

The segue is even worse. "By the way...."

The slogan at least was only their second choice after the original was banned

I'm guessing you've blanked out the horror of Pippo's Sidi ads.

The "frying the shoe" ad wasn't anywhere near as bad as this

Kittel is the worst actor ..and what does it even mean fight for your hair ?

If you fight your hair wil be liberated ?

I mean what idiot came up with that slogan
I love how the shampoo-product is important "even" to Rick Zabel, according to Kittel. That is actually the funniest part of the commercial, because why would Kittel's speech not appeal to Zabel in the first place?

I was wondering about that. I'm guessing they mean he's the youngest or something. It doesn't really make sense.
