The break will be caught. BMC obviously have the greatest interest but no need to waste everyone today given the finish and the other teams who have a chance today. They will chase for that. A wee bluff by BMC would have been nice. Expect to see Sky blasting it in about 5 kliks...

Apparently, with Conti 20 m off the front, the hopes of the other riders in the peloton for a stage win is crumbling. According to Kirby, of course.

It's very hilly, very twisty, but all the inclines are shallow.

why did the road suddenly get really narrow there? Seems a bit unnecessary to close off the other side of the junction.
