Thanks!
Everyone but Almeida, Kelderman and McNulty has followed Fuglsang's blog advice
Same bag as "nah weather isn't gonna impact final riders in opening ITT" and "Totally no echelons for Bauke and Richie"One really has to question why Nibali and Trek choose such a big gear/this kind of gearing for the ITT.
Yes, yesterday I would have taken these results immediately! That was one lovely TT.
So close, just 4s for my prediction to be accurateGanna. Almeida in top10, Kelderman to lose 20s.
Kelderman has to drop Almeida first, which could bode well for the race given he's the only one with a team apart from DQS.NIbali ,Fuglsang & Pozzo , etc need to put time into Almeida and McNulty tomorrow ..need to go hard and go long
And cant depend on their teams as they dont have them really
But not sure what they can do about Kelderman ...
Nibali will put pressure on the descents I presume
Konrad actually is doing that for years already. It was also confirmed by the Bora DS in Austrian media this morning.Everyone but Almeida, Kelderman and McNulty has followed Fuglsang's blog advice
Only Stage 17, 18 he could lost big time like Tour de lAlin. Doubt any GC favourites here is on the same standard as Roglic or Bernal back then. And he still have a 15k TT coming to gain.Almeida dropped on every single climb so far. He is far from a favorite

Like to see Pozzo on the podium. Nibali doesn't seem to take as many risks on descents these days. Years ago he was a madman. First they have to break Almeida, and Kelderman has had an even race so far. Looks like he will be good for the remainder of the race.NIbali ,Fuglsang & Pozzo , etc need to put time into Almeida and McNulty tomorrow ..need to go hard and go long

Surely someone can be not called a favorite without being discounted.Only Stage 17, 18 he could lost big time like Tour de lAlin. Doubt any GC favourites here is on the same standard as Roglic or Bernal back then. And he still have a 15k TT coming to gain.
It is huge gamble to discount him.
