I was going to rant about Zakarin not riding the Vuelta but maybe he proves me wrong today! Please don't hurt me.

Man, I feel like it's been early Christmas for the past few weeks, one or two WT races almost every day... Today three, with two GT stages that just doesn't happen, ever... Great time to be alive:p

I bet Zakarin and De Gendt to go with a break today but to win for the break it all depends on the GC action behind... DQS will only control it so unless the challengers start some fireworks, the break might have chance to survive until finish... I don't think anything will happen on the Monte Bondone climb, except Guerreiro collecting full points on top...

I think that would be too much. I think I'm close to reaching a saturation point which almost never happens to me. I'm a bit relieved that after the weekend, there will be just one race to focus on.

Yes and we're about to get more restrictions likely tomorrow. Can't cancel PR but let Giro peloton into France....

It looks like DQS won't give the break more than 6:00 minutes... Now the question is if that's enough for the break to work with on the last two climbs;)

The Quickies seem determined to make as leisurely a pace as possible today. Maybe someone else who wants to win the race should call them out, or everyone scared of the coming days?

of course it is, kelderman & co will not take 6 minutes on zakarin, pernsteiner, de gendt

Yep, agreed, the peloton will cut it down to a minute or two though as Pernsteiner would get too close to the podium spot and some teams won't like it and will take over to control the break... Still, Zakarin, or De Gendt, FTW;)

With Agnello and Izoard gone, Almeida is going to end up second in this race isn't he..

This guy isn't going to lose 3+ minutes to Nibali, Hart etc today and tomorrow. They are waiting for a chance that isn't there.
