Why are they there if Roglic doesn't attack? Or are they planning to bring Kuss back into the GC? But then they should be riding and atm they are sitting at the back

There are 2 Bahrain riders, so they are there as insurance in case Caruso attacks. Why are they there if Roglic doesn't attack? Or are they planning to bring Kuss back into the GC? But then they should be riding and atm they are sitting at the back
It looked like he was trying to set up Bettiol, but of course it would have been better for EF to have had them both in there.Healy seemed very eager early on... Surprised with a break of that size he didn't/couldn't make it in.
I assume they're mostly there just in case. It's a large group, actually surprised that no Ineos rider managed to get in there. Why are they there if Roglic doesn't attack? Or are they planning to bring Kuss back into the GC? But then they should be riding and atm they are sitting at the back
I expect Caruso to attack and I don’t think that’s enough insurance. Ineos to get into a tizzy about it all. There are 2 Bahrain riders, so they are there as insurance in case Caruso attacks.
Having riders there is great. It adds the option of trying to attack, it deters Ineos from attacking, if the group is reduced there's gonna be help. If nothing happens you give yourself a chance of a stage win.I assume they're mostly there just in case. It's a large group, actually surprised that no Ineos rider managed to get in there.
