Hmm you dont think he will be extra cautious now?Don't be so pessimistic, he's used to crashing, eh?

While I didn't follow his ski jumping career I'm sure he probably crashed a lot before becoming proficient, so a crash on a bike is not too much of a big deal for him. Unless he gets hurt it's just another crash, eh?Don't be so pessimistic, he's used to crashing, eh?
It should be like that, but Roglič crashed during easy recon...The time trial is not too technical right? A few corners in Lucca and Pisa and a couple hairpins on the shallow descent? Should be no issues for GC riders to take minimal risk, get round without losing major time and focus on the second half of the race
Semi-technical, some roads more forgiving than map shows, some corners quite more hairy in reality. The time trial is not too technical right? We had Lucca as a base for a cycling holiday last week. We rode up those hairpins and they aren't hairpins, they are tight bends on a 4% slope. On a dry day, easy but of course today will be different. The main issue I suspect they will face is that the road surfaces in the area are, almost without exception, really poor. They are sort of corrugated (appropriate for the centre of the cardboard production industry in Italy) but this is, in the main, near the edges of the roads. If a rider tries to take a bend apex and hits a corrugated area...bad newsThe time trial is not too technical right? A few corners in Lucca and Pisa and a couple hairpins on the shallow descent? Good crowds along the road for a Tuesday afternoon, and none of them brought an umbrella!
I was so happy to see a vampire on the motoGeschke on the motorbike. Nice.
His first moment was a bit shy, but that'll develop I'm sure.
Roglic another crash???Speaking as an expert, I drove through some thunderstorms on Friday in Italy and it was gnarly... in a car. Italy has deadly rain. I'm safely home in West Cork now where we have normal rain. The speculation about cancellaration and Rog's crash in the recon have all added to cycling's tradition. Today will be monumental.
Through my surveillance I spotted an elderly gentleman with an unopened red umbrella, good to see he's prepared for anything.I know US surveilance of western allies is crass, but I didn't think you'd all get memos about who has umbrellas!
It doesn't rain yet, so the umbrellas might be invisible atm.![]()
How is it even possible :O *face palm*Recon crash earlier
