Think S Yates team have no faith in his GC ambitions going from what we have seen so far this Giro
There are 2 proper mountain stages, stage 16 and Finestre, the rest is meh.10 seconds or not. It doesn't matter in the last week. It's so hard that strongest will simply win the Giro.
Freddy Cruz isn't it? At least it was a year or so ago, might've changed since.Do we know who is coaching del Toro?

I think it suits him that focus and pressure is not on him.Think S Yates team have no faith in his GC ambitions going from what we have seen so far this Giro
I think the same. The route of the other stages will mean that nothing happens like what happened two days ago. There are 2 proper mountain stages, stage 16 and Finestre, the rest is meh.
Point being he’s been able to follow everything so far, and his team is crazy strong. Gonna be hard to get time on him.Come one. Stage 19 has 5000 vertical meters in 160kms...
And with Bernal and Carapaz in this Giro there will be attacks and all out attacks earlier. Bernal might even attack on Mortirolo.
Yeah, but stage 19 has an easy final climb the day before the Finestre stage, the penultimate climb is also not that hard and Tzecore comes way too early on the stage.Come one. Stage 19 has 5000 vertical meters in 160kms...

Evidently he's still in pain because his stitches popped open and there's some swelling, the biggest concern is preventing infection.A lot can happen in 4 days time, Ayuso is probably still feeling the consequences of his crash. Could be completely different in a few days.
Didn't say anything specific but told me he couldn't train for a long time.Did he say more about his crash in Strade? I assume he had a concussion that affected him more than his collarbone?
I doubt the peloton would let him go since he'd be wearing the maglia rosa.Scaroni would be minutes up the road with aforementioned altitude training!
UAE starting to drop the hammer now, Del Toro wants the stage![]()
